The evening will open with the dances taught during the Introduction to Dance session. We will start playing the highest ranked dance at 8:00. Changing a Dance's Ranking on the List.
For each dollar above five that a dance receives, a little bird will chirp for it. The more chirpers the higher the dance's ranking on the play-list. Everyone that comes to the ball will get one little bird to chirp for his or her favorite dance. Balliamo
Each dance group did two one half hour sets on Saturday, and Balliamo returned Sunday to dance twice more. The audience liked coming up afterward to dance some simple circle dances with us. We pulled out most of our repertoire of twenty-two dances to fill up the two days.
Making her "debut" was Aubrey Baude, dancing with us for the first time. She just started this spring, but was able to do all six dances in the 2nd set on Saturday.
Coming home for a short break from her FEMA job in Baton Rouge, Nicoletta Anselmo danced all day Saturday & half of Sunday, not forgetting any of the dances since her months long absence.
Out on maternity leave was Lauren Pullen, expecting any minute now. Her sister, Stacie Jensen, had to be out of town so left the Bambini group in the capable hands of Mrs. Sophia Ep.
Athlete Alice Petta-Goldie was away participating in the Senior Games.
The two groups look forward to their next performance, which will be on Sunday, September 6th at Cal Expo's Center Stage at 1:00 pm. They will combine to do a 45 minute show. Later that same week they will both partiipate in the annual Pippo Ranch Italian Festival in Vacaville.

Kolo Koalition Party, August 15th at 8pm
We have taken the usual BBKM slot at the YLI Hall so our theme for this event is "KK meets BBKM". Is that too many acronyms for you? Don't let that hold you back. Meet us at the YLI Hall at 27th Street and N Street in Sacramento at 8pm on August 15th.
We look forward to seeing you!
Jennifer Gravvat
Life may not be the party we hoped for,
but while we are here we might as well dance.
